Do you love playing poker games? Do you dream of playing in the World Series of Poker (WSOP)? While there is no substitute for live poker play at the poker table, this blog post will give you a few house rules to help improve your game. You’ll also learn some of the basics of WSOP play to make the most of your experience when you finally join in on the action.
Here are some house rules at the World Series of Poker or WSOP:
1. All players must have a valid ID to play.

2. Only registered players are allowed to play.
3. To play for real money on WSOP, players must be at least 21 years of age and physically located in the State of Nevada.
4. Players cannot use WSOP chips outside of the tournament area.
5. No phones or other electronic devices are allowed on the table.

6. The wagering limits for each cash game table, including the size of the blinds (forced initial bets), appear in the WSOP poker client lobby. When players join a cash game, they may sit down with any amount between the minimum and maximum buy-in designated for that table, with the funds being deducted from their cashier balance.
7. The tournament ends when one player has accumulated all of the chips in play. When a player loses all of his chips, he is knocked out of the tournament (unless the tournament structure allows eliminated players to re-enter). If two or more players are eliminated in the same hand, the player(s) who began the hand with fewer chips will be deemed to have been eliminated first, for the purpose of calculating payouts.
8. There are fees associated with participating in real-money poker games on WSOP. The fee for participating in cash games is called “rake” and consists of a small percentage of each pot retained by the house. The rake is determined by the game stakes, the pot size, and the number of players in a hand.
9. To keep the pace of play at an enjoyable level, players will be limited to playing a maximum of ten (10) cash game tables at any time; however, players will only be able to occupy one seat at each table. There is no maximum on the number of tournaments a player can play concurrently.
